Akshaya Patra facilitates the scholarship programme to incentivise education and support students from marginalised communities to pursue higher studies. It helps these students become financially independent in their pursuit of academic aspirations. It lays the foundation on which they can develop their talents and skills, thus empowering them to make the most of the opportunities that come their way.

Akshaya Patra Alumni Network (AAN)

Akshaya Patra Alumni Network (AAN) is a platform for former beneficiaries of Akshaya Patra's mid-day meal and scholarship efforts. It was formed to provide Akshaya Patra alumni opportunities for upskilling, job counselling and networking.

Abhay Remedial Classes

Abhay is a remedial classes initiative designed and implemented by Akshaya Patra. Its objective is to boost children’s academic performance through activity-based learning and extracurricular activities, empowering them to carve a better future for themselves. Abhay works on two fronts: first, to boost children’s basic learning abilities (i.e., their ability to read simple text and do basic maths) through remedial classes, and second, support their overall development through extra-curricular activities.

National Endeavour for Student Transformation (NEST)

The National Endeavour for Student Transformation (NEST) is the flagship initiative of The Akshaya Patra Foundation that engages in the government education system to enhance the quality of education, create an environment which will contribute to improved learning outcomes and build an enjoyable schooling experience.
