Cargill has also extended significant support towards Akshaya Patra’s COVID-19 Relief Feeding Service in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Ahmadabad, Pune, and NCR.

CMR Welfare Foundation is a Section 8 Company (under the Companies Act 2013) incorporated in 2018 to implement community development initiatives of parent organisation CMR Green Technologies Limited. CMR Welfare Foundation has partnered with Akshaya Patra to provide mid-day meals to around 729 children in Vadodara, Gujarat in the current year. This is in accord with their CSR policy of promoting education and child health care which they have been fulfilling religiously. This tie-up has helped many children hailing from challenging economic conditions, to continue their education and not leave the school midway.
