Commenting on APF touching a mark of Half-a-Billion school meals till date, Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa, Vice Chairman, Akshaya Patra Foundation, said, "It is quite satisfying to see how an organization started with feeding mere 1500 children, today has already fed more than a million children till date, in this short journey of nine years. It is our aim to be able to feed around 5 million children every day by 2020."
